Assalāmu ʿalaykum, everyone,
Today, I would like to introduce you to Brother Mohammed Ashour, an incredible asset to the Ummah and someone for whom I sincerely pray that Allāh grants the highest levels of Paradise. He is a person who has carried his Muslim identity to where it truly belongs. May Allāh bless him. Āmīn.

From Knowledge to Action
Dear brothers and sisters, those who truly listen to the message in my lectures, both onsite and online, and not merely to my voice or accent, will recognise the strong call to action embedded within them.
Knowledge was never meant to be an end in itself. Its purpose has always been implementation, to be lived and practised.
After all, this is the very foundation of transformation. And transformation is the true essence of the knowledge of the Qurʾān and Sunnah.
Questions We Must Ask Ourselves
In many seminars and workshops, I often pose the following questions:
- If Muslims were to disappear today, what would the world miss?
- Are we living for the sake of Allāh?
- Are we inventing and innovating for the sake of Allāh?
- Do we see the world as it is, or as it could be, for the sake of Allāh?
- Are we truly representing Islam across the many spheres of opportunity available today?
And when I say represent, I truly mean it:
To act as practising Muslims, to speak as believers, and to demonstrate that Islam is a complete way of life.
I also encourage you to read a short piece I once shared with a group of teenagers, titled “I Have a 'Dream'!”, and to share it with your children.
The Untapped Potential of Our Youth
Throughout my travels, I have been blessed to meet remarkable young individuals with strong īmān and noble character. Their presence brings comfort to my eyes and joy to my heart.
They possess immense potential to become true game changers, yet many are missing the essential formula for meaningful progress:
- Understanding the “why” — having a clear vision, because everything we do is a means to an end, and the vision defines that end.
- Focus — as my father wisely said: “One full cup of water is always more complete than three half cups.”
- Drive — the quality that separates the good from the great, and the great from the greatest. True success lies not just at the top of the mountain, but at its very edge.
A Living Example: Mohammed Ashour
In this brief reflection, I wish to highlight someone who truly embodies these principles, Brother Mohammed Ashour.
He represents Islam with excellence in his field, carrying the name “Muḥammad” into spaces where it is seldom seen today, especially in light of modern trends.
He exemplifies:
- Vision
- Focus
- Sincere drive
His achievements have been recognised on international platforms, mā shāʾ Allāh, and his work serves as a source of inspiration for us all.
I have not yet had the honour of meeting or speaking with him personally. However, I firmly believe that he has offered the world a glimpse of what it would miss without Islam, and that he will be among those whom the world will truly miss when he returns to Allāh.
It is for this reason that I share this reflection today.
P.S. For those eager to travel further along this path, I invite you to read my book, The Journey to Success: The Roadmap of Ikhlās, Iḥsān, and Istiqāmah. In it, I share a framework for nurturing sincerity, striving for excellence, and holding firm with consistency; qualities that define true success in this world and the next.
